‘Apolitical’ describes a convention of impartiality amongst people active in politics, like the Speaker of the Commons, the Cross-Benchers in the Lords or most parish councillors, who are not subject to the party ‘whip’ or told what to think by a political party.
Apolitical offers a different way.
We are a local group of independents with differing points of view but who share a belief in collaboration not confrontation, transparency not obfuscation. Good decisions are arrived at when they have been thoroughly deliberated and challenged. Our candidates will provide that environment of independent challenge unimpeded by party diktat.
